How to Take an Accurate TDS Reading:

⚠️ Important: All TDS readings must be taken at least 4–6 days after system installation or filter replacement.
Brand new carbon filters may release harmless carbon dust, which can give false high readings until fully flushed out through regular use.

Steps:

1. Collect 3 water samples (4–8 oz each):

   • Tap/Source water

   • Waste water

   • Pure water line (before any post-filter)
     (If your RO system includes alkaline, mineral, KDF, or calcite filters, collect the pure water sample immediately after the RO membrane, not at the final output.)
